Butte County Office of Education Child Development Programs and Services (CDPS) in collaboration with the County’s Public Health Department, offers the opportunity for early learning and care programs serving SNAP-ED eligible children and families to participate in nutrition and physical activity promotion. Child Development Programs and Services has been working with the local health department for a number of years to support the implementation of nutrition and physical activities in several of the county's state preschool programs.  Funding for this program is provided by the US Department of Agriculture's SNAP-ED program.
